Welcome to E-COSM 2024

First and foremost, thank you for your continuing commitment to the E-COSM ( IFAC Conference on Engine and Powertrain Control, Simulation and Modeling) series, and for participating and sharing your research results in the E-COSM 2024. Without your contributions there is no E-COSM 2024.

E-COSM was created in 2006 as a triennial workshop series. After four editions, it was updated and E-COSM’24 is the third edition as an IFAC conference series. The aim of E-COSM is to bring researchers and practitioners from industry and academia together to present and discuss the latest academic research developments relating to the basics and emerging topics, as well as industrial experience in deploying real world applications. The program of E-COSM 2024 includes plenary speeches, tutorials, invited sessions and technical sessions.

We successfully obtained IFAC Main Sponsoring Technical Committee from TC 7.1. Automotive Control, IFAC Co-Sponsoring Technical Committees from TC 1.3.  Discrete Event and Hybrid Systems, TC 2.2. Linear Control Systems and TC 2 4. Optimal Control, and Co-Sponsors from The Society of Instrument and Control Engineers (SICE), Chinese Association of Automation (CAA), CAA Technical Committee on Vehicle Control and Intelligence (VCI), Intelligent technology sub-society of Chinese society for internal combustion engines, Chinse Society for Internal Combustion Engines (CSICE) and Dalian University of Technology.

Dalian is one of the most attractive cities and a major metropolis in China. The city is situated at the tip of Liaodong Peninsular in the north-east China, a very beautiful harbor with a long coast. It is a trading and financial center in northeastern Asia, honored as a Pearl of the North China & a City of Romance.
